Five methods of finding personal happiness in life

Happiness

Something that all of us want but does not come easily is happiness. Happiness is definitely that we may need to work on. We have to find ways to be able to learn happiness regardless of the things that happen in our lives. It really is something that we are able to do and able to do well. It is not necessary for us to worry about what other people may think because we only get a single chance to make the most of our lives and after all it is our life and not anyone else's.

The Ways

There are some methods that you can try so that you have all the happiness in life that you deserve. It is going to take some work and a lot of effort, but you can do it and once you see the way that you feel, you will know that it is worth it and that you have made the right choices in life.  Taking these methods into consideration is very important.  You need to make things work for you so that you are able to do well in life and to get all your goals achieved.

1. Without happiness, life is meaningless. We have to first set goals. Once we have goals in place and we know what we want, we have to figure out a way to get there. We need to find ways to make things happen for us so that we can have the very best in life that we deserve. We need to make our life special so that we are able to feel good at the end of the day. When we are setting goals that we want in life, we will be able to start to feel good about our life because we will have a goal to work hard for.

2. Second, we need to remember that we have to live for today. We need to make sure that we are using our best intentions and making the days that we have worthwhile. We need to of course think about our future and make sure that we are making the right choices so that we are safe and secure, but we also need to bring some fun to our life and to make sure that are succeeding in all our goals.

3. Another thing to do is to think about what things will make us lose our happiness. What are the factors or events in our life that would make us feel discontented with who we are and would cause us not to feel happy. These are items that we have to really stay away from. We should ensure that we are able to keep away the negative factors from our life, and that we are able to make the correct choices without putting risks on our happiness. It is essential that we continue to make things work out for us and that we are able to stay happy.

4. Being healthy is the fourth thing that we need to do to ensure that we are happy. We need to make good health choices so that we are able to stay happy and healthy no matter what we do. We need to continue to eat the right way and to think about the choices that we make for our body. We need to keep ourselves from anything that will make us unhealthy and sick.  We have to keep the negative things out of our body and also stay in good mental health so that we are able to be emotionally and physically happy as well.

5. Lastly we need to keep the good feelings in our hearts. We have to be able to keep these good feelings in our mind so that we can give back to others. We need to be pleasant and to try and be happy.  The more pleasant that we are will mean that we will be able to stay happier as well as make others happy too. We want to make other people feel good about them. We want to be able to bring joy to others and keep thinking good thoughts.  Do not let yourself get down and especially do not intentionally bring others down.

How To Achieve Goals – How To Set And Achieve Goals

Learning how to achieve goals is an important step to bring about positive changes in your life. It acts as a beacon and guides you to the final destination you want. Goal setting is a very powerful tool whether you use it for business, personal, sports or any other purpose in life.

Many people failed to achieve their goals because at the first place, they do not have clear goals to achieve. They have too many goals. That is why their attention is not focused and is divided to different matter.

The simple key in attaining your goals is you through directing yourself towards the realization of a defined concrete goal. That is your starting point. If you already established that, you can start working on it by focusing your attention and avoiding distractions.

Remember that there are too many things in the world that can distract you in attaining your goal. Of course, it is important to do your best and give your maximum effort. Sometimes, the end goal in itself is not that important as in the process of achieving your desired goals.

Then, always remember that not everything is perfect so there are times that you will really encounter problems but consider them as challenges for you. If you failed once, you have to stand up and show the world that you are strong. Too many people give up easily once they encounter the first obstacle to your goals.

A challenge is just a test to pass. Only the weak people will not make it in the end. But if you have enough motivation and determination then surely, you can get your dreams and make it your reality. Just remember each failure and setback you have brings you closer to success.

It is important to see the world as not black and white. There are too many forces that can affect one´s personal experience. What is important is that you know how to manage yourself, for you to attain your goals and succeed in life.

If you want to learn how to achieve goals, i recommend the DNA Of Success Book by Jack M. Zufelt. Click here to learn more about how to achieve goals.

How Effective Life Coaching can Turn Your Life Around

Numerous folks experience problems setting personal goals and then following them. There are many reasons for this, such as lack of focus, little or no self discipline or perhaps a lifestyle that is mismanaged. Ultimately, they end up going around in circles getting nowhere fast. Whatever the reason maybe, when personal goals are not being attained, the quality of life for that individual can suffer a severe downturn. If you feel that you are spinning your wheels but not getting anywhere as far as your own  personal goals are concerned, perhaps the time has come to look into life coaching.

Assisting other people to accomplish their personal goals and dreams is what life and personal development coaching is all about. A coach can achieve this by leading by example, giving life tips and utilizing effective coaching skills that come from a variety of disciplines, such as psychology or sociology. A life coach must assist you in analyzing your current living situation and have you reach a decision as to where you would ultimately like to be in life. As well as offering tips and guiding you along, they will also assist you in getting over any obstacles that might pop up along the way.

One thing to be conscious of is that a life coach is not a fix all and cannot solve your problems on your behalf. If you have alcohol, drug or  psychological connected troubles or there are issues relating to abuse, your mentor will not be certified to assist you with these types of problem. Although they are not qualified to do such a job, they can offer a good example and may assist you to seek out specialist help for your specific issues. Your mentor is not there to push you towards anything which you are not ready for and neither should they show you the way. They are more of a shoulder to lean on should you require assistance in handling certain transitions in your life.

One important aspect that you should be conscious of is that there are no professional qualifications or certification required to become a life coach or for leadership mentoring. There are organizations that do offer membership but there is no schooling needed in order to be a mentor. With that in mind, when you are looking for a life coach, you should be extremely skeptical of anybody who claims to be able to alter your life or help you to accomplish any unreasonable goals.

Many people get a genuine feeling of satisfaction when they can help others succeed in attaining their goals, ambitions and aspirations. To these folks, life coaching is very much a way of life. If you have a yearning to start coaching people yourself, just bear in mind that very little good in life comes easy and it can take some hard work to become a life coach, but the end rewards will be well worth the effort.

Everybody needs a little motivation now and then. Life simply has an inclination to be overwhelming on occasion and people can often find themselves lost on the way to their goals. Life coaching takes those goals and helps put the individual back on the right path to success.

Some Simple Cures For Blushing

Blushing whenever someone or a group of people tease and taunt you is very normal.

The only time that you should start worrying is when you blush excessively, especially when you blush for no reason at all.

Blushing is usually triggered when you feel embarrassed or anxious and sometimes when you eat hot and spicy foods.

When you blush, the blood vessels in your face open up, making the whole of your face, and even the tips of your ears, turn crimson with the heart palpitating at times.

This is a very normal phenomenon but if you start to blush too frequently, you may begin to feel very self-conscious and may not act normally around other people.

If you don't know any cures for blushing and leave it as it is, chances are that your blushing problem will get worse and you may even start to get frightened of meeting other people, just in case you blush.

Doctors and psychiatrists would recommend all kinds of cures for blushing that may help you to regain your confidence and be able to blend in with friends and family as well.

Blushing affects everyone at some time or other. And there's a good chance that your face turning red will be noticed by others close to you.

Some of these blushing solutions may help you control your blushing and be able to mingle with other people with confidence once again.

Some of these cures come from research whilst others are more of an extension of your body's natural ways to relax.

  • As soon as you realize you've started to blush, take some deep breaths. Take a long, deep breath in and then exhale equally slowly, in order to calm your nervous system and begin to reduce the severity of your blushing.
  • Avoid eating spicy foods, which usually cause natural blushing.
  • Download and listen to a hypnosis track to reduce your blushing problem.

How To Reduce Your Crowds Phobia

Unless you live in a really isolated part of the country, you're almost never far away from a crowd.

Which makes it a problem if you're afraid of crowds.

Trouble is, crowds can appear as if from thin air. One minute you're almost on your own in a street or mall, then you turn around and there are people everywhere. It's like you've stepped into a movie.

Most of the time, crowds are harmless. However, if you are afraid of crowds then it's a completely different story when you try to tell your mind that fact. Instead, you'll likely be running all sorts of different scenarios as to why this particular crowd of people means you harm. Regardless of the fact that they're just a group of strangers intent on minding their own business, not a crowd carrying swords and torches.

So what can you do to calm yourself down if you're unfortunate enough to find yourself standing in the center of a large, seemingly angry, crowd?

Listening to your rational mind saying "it's OK" will likely be as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Taking a few deep breaths may work. Or at least stop you panicking totally.

Then let your survival instinct take over and head for the closest exit. Steadily. Without running.

Longer term, you should look for a better solution.

If your memory will let you, think back to when you first became frightened of crowds. Maybe it was when you were a child and maybe you got parted from your parents and started to panic and maybe cry. Lots of the time, phobias such as this one go a long way back in our life to our time as a child and we weren't as rational and straight thinking as we are as an adult.

If it's possible to trace your fear of crowds back to one particular time, one of the best ways to heal yourself is to "un-learn" the response you learned in those few minutes. There are some tricks you can do to achieve this but they're best left to professionals.

Mind you, before you go down that route, check out a hypnosis download on crowd phobia - this works most of the time for most people and is definitely the first place to start.

How To Watch Less TV

TV. Love it or hate it, we almost all watch it. Lots and lots of it

Quite a lot of people would prefer to watch less television if they could work out how to. Whether you're sat glued to the tv or whether it's just there, playing to itself.

Chances are that if I asked you what you just watched, you would be able to give me at least an outline of it. But yesterday's television? Or last week? Hmmm. Your recall probably isn't as good.

So is there anything you can do that will help you to watch less television?

Here are some easy tips to watch less television.

1. Press the off switch

Eek! Turn the television off? In some households, the thing stays on 24 hours a day. But if you're on your own and you're not really watching the TV, it's just "on", turn the darn thing off.

2. Book the shows you really want to watch

Chances are that there are some shows you really "must" watch. Maybe it's Kiefer Sutherland saving the world (again) in 24. Or possibly there's no way you want to miss the next instalment on how those desperate housewives are coping. It doesn't matter what your decision is, that's fine. Keep watching those. Just not all the other stuff in the intervening hours.

3. Turn off the news

Another big issue for a lot of people. But nothing much really newsworthy actually happens and if it does, you'll hear about it soon enough. Most of the time, watching the news rotate on television is merely a reason for wallowing in other people's suffering. Cut those negative vibes out of your life and gain back the extra hours every week.

4. Use that television recorder

Record the programs you want to watch. Then relax and watch them, but with the remote control close by to race through all the trailers and commercial breaks. That will free up around 20 minutes in every hour of television you would have watched. Which at least means you get more time to watch even more shows if you fail in your quest to watch less TV!

5. Use hypnosis to help

Yes. This works a treat. Just download a hypnosis track to watch less TV and listen to it and you'll quickly find your mind coming up with other things to do than sit and watch tv.

{Anger Management Information That Many Don't Know}

{Do you get aggressive when you get angry? If you do, you should know that aggression is a learned behavior and is not part of human behavior. Animals naturally get aggressive when they get angry. The fact of the matter is that aggression is not a natural human trait. Which is the more reason you should learn how to get rid of it in the first place.}

{Picking up and repeating calming verses from the bible or a favorite motivational source can help you get a grip on your angry emotions. You can repeat ‘no need to get angry’ over and over again in your mind if you want to control it. Meditation has helped many angry people deal effectively with their anger and it can help you as well.}

{Blaming other people for your anger problems is simply an indication that you are living in denial to the fact that you do have one. When you blame someone else for getting angry, it does not help to cool you down. Blame placing only ends up infuriating you all the more.}

{Always take a moment to question yourself before you react in anger. When you are not quick to react, you save yourself a lot of drama and pain. Thinking before you act is one way to cool down angry impulses.}

{In marriage, anger is usually a result of intolerance for a specific habit or character. If you truly desire to make your marriage work, you should realize that you and your spouse are two different people and learn to accept those things that make both of you different. Take care not to snuff out your spouse’s character because of your unreasonable anger towards a particular trait or habit.}

{Empathizing with the person who makes you angry is one fine anger management technique. When you wear the shoes of your protagonist and feel the pinch, you will be more inclined to forgive any slight on his or her part. Empathy- the process of empathizing with the person who angers you is fast becoming a popular anger management technique.}

{If you are a bit uneasy about anger management classes, you can take an online anger management class. Online anger management classes make it easy for you to get help anytime of the day. With online anger management classes, you can get as personal as you want and still have your privacy.}

{You may never be able to take control of your anger if you don’t owe up to the role you may have played to cause it. If you are in a habit of placing blame on everybody but yourself when you are angry, you may never be able to control your anger. Taking the responsibility for your anger allows you to tackle it much more firmly.}

How to Get Rid Of Your Spider Phobia

If you're scared of spiders, what options do you have?

You can stand there screaming or run away to get help from someone who isn't worried about these creepy looking eight legged creatures.

Or maybe you can be cruel and vacuum the poor, defenseless creature away from your home.

At this moment in time, chances are that you resort to one of these solutions when you encounter a spider.

But let's face it, you're not exactly dwarfed by even the biggest spider, are you? So why should you let nature's fly catchers dominate your life?

Start by finding out how deep your arachnophobia is. My guess is that because you're on this page, you can cope with the word "spider" on your computer screen. But if you were near a real spider, you'd be first out of the room in a race with it.

I could suggest that you look at some pictures of spiders to accustom yourself to them, but most people never take this option. If you're feeling brave, give this a go now, but don't worry if you don't.

Instead, try to think back to when you first became scared of spiders. Were you afraid of the spider? Or did the look and feel of the spindly spider's web creep you out, maybe as you accidentally walked into it and it got caught in your hair? If it's this second option, there's a good chance that your fear has been strengthened by various movies - cobwebs feature in a large number of horror movies.

Then think back further in time. Were you actually happily playing with a spider when your mom came in the room and shrieked? If that's the case, that is near enough guaranteed to be the exact time you learned that being afraid of spiders was normal, rather than letting them go ahead and merrily catch flies.

On the plus side, since you learned fast to be afraid of spiders, you can "unlearn" just as fast. If you've got a hypnotist in town, they'll sort you out. Or you could get the same end result for a lot less cash by getting hold of a hypnosis spider fear cure and listening to it a few times. You can get immediate access to a hypnosis cure for your fear of spiders here.

How To Stop Your Fear of Dogs

Being scared of dogs is quite common. The fear is quite often triggered when we're young. Possibly you were happily playing with a dog and without warning your dog got upset and started growling at you. If that happens when you're older, no worries, you'd likely not have an issue. But when we're younger, almost instantly your mind is trained to think that dogs are bad news.

Since we learn quickly when we put our mind to it, this impression sticks with us. Whether we like the idea or not.

So what can you do to get rid of your fear of dogs? Deep down, most dogs would rather be your friend and be fed dog treats every now and then.

You could tell yourself that "dogs are friendly" but you and I both know that you'll dismiss that thought in an instant. Especially as there's almost certainly a voice in your head screaming (in true pantomime fashion) "oh no they aren't!"

The next thing to try is to get a little bit closer to dogs so that you see them but there is zero chance that you'll actually be nose to nose or or encounter it jumping onto you and lick you all over your face. Looking at pictures is a good way to progress here. Unless you're truly paranoid, you know that the picture is really just some ink on a page or pixels on your computer monitor. Most people, even if their initial reaction is "no way", get on OK with this stage and you'll probably find your mind getting slightly more relaxed at the thought of coming face to face with a dog in real life.

But all that is quite tedious and we all like instant results nowadays. Plus going the slow route won't work if your children absolutely must have a dog and there's no way you can talk them out of it?

A much speedier way to combat things such as a fear of dogs|being afraid of dogs is by using hypnosis. This works quickly and easily. And unless you tell them, no-one will ever realize you're using hypnosis since you can get an instant MP3 download of hypnosis for fear of dogs and listen to it until your fear melts away.

Most people find that when they start to notice what causes their blushing, there are one or two common events. Once you've narrowed your blushes down like this, you can start working on a solution.

Quite often our blushing us caused because we're not relaxed. The tension that builds up because of this turns into blushes - usually at just the wrong moment. 3 Tips To Eliminate Your Fear Of Thunderstorms

We've all experienced thunderstorms in our lives. Some people find the loud noises and flashes of light exhilarating - they even chase storms - but others find them disturbing and worrying.

If you're in the second group and are scared of thunderstorms, what can you do to help overcome your fear?

1. Learn to relax

OK, I agree, this won't be uppermost on your mind when there's a storm closing in and the deep noise of thunder echoes all around. But since these storms don't last forever, use the time between them to learn to relax. Weirdly, most of us have un-learned how to relax (probably because our hectic lives don't give us much time). But with a little bit of practice, you'll find it easier to relax "on command". If that's not an option at the moment, put on your favorite track, close the blinds and turn the headphones up to distract yourself from the weather outside.

2. Face your fear

Eeek! You're likely thinking this is not exactly easy. Fortunately, our fear is often irrational, which means if you face up to it, you're very likely to find your fear will now be afraid. If your fear takes the form of a nagging voice in your head, remember that the voice is one you've created. So begin to play with your fear rather than being scared by it. Change the voice so it sounds like a cartoon mouse. Spray paint it like a teenage graffiti artist would. Anything to make fun of the fear you're creating. Sounds daft? Try it and see how well it works!

3. Get some help

This could be as simple as talking to a trusted friend - speaking out loud about our fears often helps expose them for the imposters they are. Or download a specialist hypnosis track to quell your fear of thunderstorms. These tracks work very well and are easily affordable. Check out a hypnosis for thunderstorms track here for instant download.

STUDENTS AND SOCIAL SERVICE

We are born and brought up in society. From birth to death we go on receiving things from society. Social service is a way of giving back to society a tiny portion of what one has received from it.

Although it is the duty of each of us to do something by way of social service, students are best suited for social service because they are young, energetic, full of enthusiasm and fired with idealism and spirit of service.

There is no limit to the type of social service or work that youngsters can do. For example, students can undertake the work of teaching illiterate people to read and write. They can teach people habits of cleanliness and hygiene or can provide food, clothes and blankets to the poor and the needy. They can organize blood donation camps or provide first aid to the victims of accidents, and relief to the victims of natural calamities like flood, drought, fire and earthquake. Work can be started from the buildings wherein students live and can be extended gradually to cover their locality, village or town or even taluka and district. They should study the problems of the people and devise ways and means of solving them.

Students can take inspiration from great men and women like Florence Nightingale, the noble nurse called the Lady with the Lamp in the service of the poor; Albert Schweitzer who spent his life in Africa, Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross; Mahatma Gandhi who lived and died in the service of humanity; Baba Amte who has devoted his life to the service of lepers or Mother Teresa, the divine angel of the destitute.

If students devote their spare time to some or any of the social service programs, there will be a slow but sure transformation of the society whose members will be better educated, better fed and better looked after. There will be fewer tears and more cheers. In such a society everyone will be trying to make everyone rise happy and everyone will find himself made happy, for individual happiness depends upon social happiness.

How To Bring in Meaning Into Your Life By Discontinuing Procrastination

Many choices in life involve a trade-off or a balance. When there is not enough time, money or energy to accomplish everything you want to do, you will have to choose your priorities carefully, knowing that each pursuit leaves you less time and fewer resources for another goal or interest. However, in the midst of life’s difficult choices, one decision is very simple from an analytical perspective. Whereas many activities have both positive and negative aspects, procrastination is one activity that consumes your time and energy while contributing nothing to your ultimate quality of life. For this reason, even a small amount of consideration should convince you to eliminate procrastination from your life. Yet this habit is not always easy to break, and even the best intentions to stop procrastinating may not be successful. A couple of tips, and a little bit of effort, may help break the habit of procrastination, allowing you to expend your time on more worthwhile pursuits.

One of the skills that can be extremely helpful in ending procrastination is the ability to prioritize. Not all activities are equally essential, and it is thinkable to waste time while actually appearing to get matters finished. In order to avoid procrastinating on your most important tasks, it may be helpful to make a list of all the things you want to accomplish this week. Without making any distinctions between important and insignificant tasks, brainstorm a list of a week’s worth of goals. When you think you have everything you require written down, either list the items in order of importance from most determinant to least necessary, or group the details into high-, medium- and low-priority sections. Try to identify your three most important tasks for the week and list on your calendar the things you will need to do in order to successfully complete them. So you can focus on these most crucial projects, saving the less essential ones for the time that is left over. Once you have got into the habit of prioritizing your week, move on to prioritizing by month and then by periods of three months.

Another important step in overcoming procrastination is to make sure that you see your ultimate goals in terms of the small steps that you will need to take. By breaking down complicated tasks into manageable stages, each with its own mini-deadline, you will prevent yourself from procrastinating in the belief that your goal is impossible regardless of what you do. In addition, the shorter amounts of time between deadlines will prevent you from procrastinating because a deadline seems so distant that you have all the time in the world. You may find that you are no longer tempted to procrastinate with your important goals when you know what you’ll need to do to accomplish them and exactly how long it will take. Once you have taken these steps to end procrastination, you may find yourself easily accomplishing tasks that once seemed almost impossible.

A Few Profiles In Procrastination Psychology certifying Organizational Strategy

The difficulty of certain tasks often provokes a desire to delay or otherwise waste time prior to getting down to business. This impulse to procrastinate can affect people’s lives since an infrequent temptation or as a nearly irresistible habit, depending on the temperament of the person.

In three particular spheres of activity, namely college, business and home life, procrastination can have an particularly detrimental effect. A finer look at the underlying factors for procrastination in each of these scenes can help illuminate some of the influences in the determination to procrastinate.

For many students, procrastination emerges as a significant problem during the first years of college. The college procrastinator is frequently someone who, for one of several possible grounds, did not learn effective time management strategies during highschool. Often accustomed to high school assignments that is strictly short-run or that have been broken down into a series of smaller assignments by the high school teachers, the college procrastinator is at a loss to adjust to college’s long term assignments. In some cases, the college procrastinator underrating the difficulty of a term composition or end-of-semester project because the prof does not constantly remind the class about the approaching deadline.

For this reason, the troubles faced by the college procrastinator can be seen as a failure to adjust from a structured, regularized learning environment into an environment where independent time management skills are a requirement. Once the need for correction and organization has been recognized, a few simple tools, such as a day planner, can help the college procrastinator organize a self-structured series of goals and deadlines for long-term assignments.

Whereas the college procrastinator may put off a difficult assignment by playing computer games or socialising, the business procrastinator is often more subtle in his or her strategy. Rather than engaging in purposeless amusements, which might be penalised if discovered, the business procrastinator frequently wastes time on activities that are in fact part or his or her job description but that are not the most critical tasks at the moment.

In some examples, a lack of confidence in the ability to successfully realize difficult assignments compels the business procrastinator to engage easy, straightforward minor undertakings. In other situations, an inability to tell between high- and low-priority assignments causes the business procrastinator to perceive that the unsophisticated tasks are just as all-important as the complicated ones, leaving the business procrastinator no grounds to pursue the thornier tasks.

To remedy this circumstance, the business procrastinator at the outset must learn to distinguish which tasks have the most possible to impact the success of the business itself and to affect the course of business in the long term. Once this has been carried through, the business procrastinator can break down long-term, complicated undertakings into a series of manageable deadlines so that they are not quite so overpowering.

Rather than being unable to face a deadline, the home-life procrastinator is often uncomfortable with the never-ending nature of daily home-related tasks. Yard work, home repairs, cleaning and meal preparation may all assume the uninspiring role of mundane inconveniences in a person’s life. When unfinished chores collect over time, the home-life procrastinator starts to feel the pressure of family work intruding on the joyfulnesses of everyday life.

To counter this situation, a precise time should be set aside each week to schedule a reasonable number of weekly tasks. By naming which tasks should be accomplished on which day, the home-life procrastinator can gain control over the amount of work. And by fixing certain tasks to certain days, the procrastinator could stop feeling blameworthy about any unfinished chores provided that he or she has attained the chores earmark for the present day.

9 Easy Anger Management Tips

Here are some simple anger management tips for you to try:

1. Slowly count to ten. OK, this is probably something your mother taught you to do. But that was when you were younger. The good news is, counting to 10 is still good. So long as you don't rush through the numbers as if it was a speed challenge, the pause you'll get is long enough for you to consider how you react.

2. Take some exercise. If your gym has a punch bag, use that. If you're not near a gym, just take any exercise. A short walk or run. Anything to help clear the anger out of your system.

3. Relax and chill out. OK, that could wind you up further in the heat of an anger attack. But if you think it could work for you, give it a go. And if it isn't an option at the moment, discover meditation or some other kind of relaxation technique to help longer term.

4. Play a video game. You can go off to some fantasy land and vent your aggression on a bunch of pixels on a screen.

5. Take a long, deep breath. Another "corny" technique your mom used with you. And another one that works well most all of the time.

6. Don't bottle up your anger. Suppressing your anger is even worse than venting it on other people. Discover methods to safely vent your anger, if at all possible without damaging people or property near you.

7. Keep an anger log. After a few entries in your log, there's a high chance you'll recognize some patterns emerging. You can then work on these to change how you react.

8. Learn to laugh. Out loud, or in your head. Comedians would be out of a job if there wasn't a funny side to things, so it's there, hiding. Learn to laugh instead of blow your top.

9. Don't get angry at yourself. You're only human. Try to learn to tolerate yourself more and stop beating yourself up if you're not always perfect.

How The Consequences Of Procrastination Can Be Devastating To A Relationship

At work and at home, people form relationships in which they depend on one another. Family life can be rocky or smooth depending on the ability of spouses and family members to divide the necessary home duties and follow through on their individual responsibilities. Relationships between co-workers also involve a level of trust that each member of the business team will contribute an adequate amount of work to a given assignment. In both of these circumstances, one person’s failure to do a fair share of the work can be devastating to the effectiveness of the family or work group and can also hinder people from trusting one another. Therefore, when procrastination becomes a significant influence in a person’s habits, both the practical and the emotional sides of the person’s family and work relationships will suffer.

In family relationships, there is always a colossal amount of work that needs to be achieved in order for the home to run smoothly. Periodic tasks might include maintenance on a home or on appliances, work in the yard, laundry, cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, keeping a vehicle or vehicles in working order, and child care. If any of these jobs are neglected for a significant amount of time, the family will be unable to operate effectively. In cases where one family member gets behind in chores, especially due to a reasonable situation like an illness or the need to work extra hours at a job, other family members will probably be happy to work around the slowdown and even pick up the excess chores temporarily. Nevertheless, when a family member habitually procrastinates for extensive time period* and leaves his or her share of house work unfinished, another family members might begin to resent the jobs being left incomplete and being burdened with the additional work. The situation can be especially tense if the procrastinator uses entertainment or games as a procrastination device, watching television or playing computer games while the other members of the household struggle with more than their share of chores. Regardless of whether the procrastinator is a spouse, parent, child, sibling or in-law, only an end to the procrastination and a responsible amount of work will remedy the strain that procrastinating can cause in a family.

In a business environment, procrastination can be similarly destructive. People who work full-time spend a majority of their time in the day with their co-workers, and the relationships between business team members are a critical part of the social lives of professionals. When one member of a business team is a chronic procrastinator, the other team members often need to shoulder the procrastinator’s share of work to meet deadlines. And when members of the team each have got a specific field of work, one individuals procrastination may leave the others unable to acquire the information they need to finish their own assignments. Resentments, distrust and hostility may result, particularly in cases where the entire team misses out on a bonus or other reward due to one member’s procrastination habits. And as in the case of procrastination at home, the only typical method to improve the situation is for the procrastinator to choose whatever organizational and time management steps are requisite to accomplish a sensible amount of work.

There are scads of people who have been disabled due to landmines and unexploded ordinance. According the World Health Organization, landmines around the world injure over 29,000 people every year. This number does not take into account unreported cases or deaths caused by the explosions.

The bottom line is that whatever may be the reason behind their disability, all of them need wheelchairs. The greatest need being in developing countries, for it is estimated that the need for wheelchairs in these countries will increase by 22 percent over the next 10 years.

In fact, in developing countries, where the need is most pronounced, these persons are currently bedridden, or get around by using their arms to propel them from place to place. Don’t these people deserve the dignity of being able to move around their homes and communities with ease? Of course they do; and you can help.

Through programs such as the Wheelchair Foundation, run all over the world; you may donate wheelchairs to be sent to several countries outside the U.S. The foundation, however, does not deliver individual chairs, but sends bulk containers to different regions.

Other organizations such as Chariots of Hope, Direct Relief International, and Hope Alliance International are all non-profit organizations that work internationally and receive donations for used wheelchair equipment. Unlike, the Wheelchair Foundation that ships large orders to general areas, these organizations attempt to cater for individual recipients. In many cases, when you donate a wheelchair, the organization will refurbish the used chair and then ship it to a child or adult in need.

All these organizations need your help to help the disabled. You can help the disabled improve the quality of their life and add that zip to their crippled movements. And won’t you enjoy adding some years to their life and adding life to those years.

How Procrastination Can Be Symptomatic Of Deeper significant Problems

When faced with an unpleasant or daunting task, either in personal or professional activities, many people can be tempted to procrastinate. Some procrastination takes the form of dismissing the unpleasant task as something to be done later and then putting it out of mind. At other times, procrastination occurs by wasting one’s time with meaningless pursuits, games and amusements. To complicate matters, not every form of procrastination can be easily dismissed as purely wasted time. For business people and office workers who handle a variety of related tasks every day, certain types of work can actually function as a tool for procrastination. In some cases, tasks that are smaller, simpler, or that might easily be delegated to an intern are used as a diversion from important, complicated, intimidating tasks.

Implications For Time-Management and Prioritizing Skills

In order to work effectively, people need the ability to budget their time. In the typical professional environment, people are given more work than they can realistically handle within normal working hours. Even people with a reasonable workload could improve their business prospects by taking on additional tasks or taking time to make aspects of their work more efficient. For all of these reasons, it is extremely important to be able to manage one’s time successfully. Effective time management necessitates the ability to weigh the amount of time uncommitted against the tasks that necessitate to be accomplished and to decide on a schedule for completing the tasks. Unfortunately, procrastination interferes with the ability to budget time by inflating the amount of time needed to reach a certain milestone or level of completion. For this reason, repeated procrastination can be seen as a sign that an individual lacks the ability to set his or her own time management goals or lacks the discipline to adhere to those goals.

In situations where multitasking is required, procrastination could also be a sign of failure to properly organize priorities. Allowing trivial tasks to take time and energy away from more important goals indicates either an inability to recognize the most important tasks or a lack of concern about whether the most important goals are accomplished in a timely fashion. However, a failure to prioritize might not be entirely the procrastinator’s fault. An employee who does not have enough information to form an overall picture of his or her employer’s goals might not have the perspective to prioritize effectively and might therefore end up wasting time on trivial goals believing that they are important.

It should be remembered that, while occasional procrastination might signal some sort of underlying problem, it is not necessarily a sign of a character flaw or skill deficit. For example, a lack of motivation due to a real or perceived shortcoming in the reward for good time management could be at the root of procrastination.  One example of this might be a work environment in which an employee receives the same compensation regardless of whether his or her deadlines are met. This could result from a poor performer realizing that procrastination is routinely tolerated, but it could also result from a high performer perceiving that outstanding time management is never rewarded. In a work environment, instances of procrastination can reveal overall communication and employee relations issues as well as the underlying issues of individual employees.

Manage Yiour Time Better To Reduce Stress

Are you finding yourself too busy now-a-days? This busy schedule often causes stress. Several people are suffering from diseases due to work related pressure and stress. Time management should be improved for better stress management.

Stress can often be caused by not having enough time to do the things you want or need to do. This is a common problem shared by many employees and employers alike in the workplace as well as students at school, colleges and universities. By managing your time, stresses can be reduced significantly.

Here are 8 useful tips on better time management

1. Do you make statements like "I’ll come over in a minute", "Just give me a couple of minutes to get dressed and finish breakfast". You must be aware by now that all the above statements are probably false because you can not dressed and finish breakfast in two minutes.

2. The key to good time management is self-organization and planning. You should plan your job at the start of every day and you should assign proper priority to all your activity.

3. set a time limit for all activities. You should assign 30 minutes in morning and 30 minutes in afternoon for reading the mails.

4. You should make your schedule based on the priority of the task. This is most important for better time management.

5. Identify all nonproductive hours in your office and remove them from your schedule. Remove all non productive time wasting activities. One way to do this is by simply maintenance a track of every activity you do and how much time you spend. Soon you will realize that real time wasters like surfing the net or making personal calls actually impact your time.

6. You should be your critic. You should review your efficiency on the various tasks day to day. You should challenge yourself to improve the quality of your work with less time. A small change in your archiving of data in your computer can save an average 30 minutes per day. You can get your secretary to help you do this.

7. Try to identify your idle time. If you are traveling to and from work by public transport, there is plenty of opportunity to complete a task, especially in today’s mobile computing age.

8. Your plan should be realistic. You need to acknowledge that there is only 24 hours in a day. Don’t make an unachievable target which will increase your stress level.

You can refer to productivity improvement guidelines to improve your time management skills.
